Transcript Import

Import from Any Platform

Already have a conversation recorded? Import your transcript from Otter, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet — and score it inside Dialogue Arena in seconds.

How It Works

Four steps, no manual editing

1
Choose your source

Select the platform the transcript came from — Otter, Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. Each uses a slightly different layout which Dialogue Arena detects automatically.

2
Upload or paste

Either upload a .txt or .vtt file directly, or copy-paste the transcript text into the import panel inside your session.

3
Preview & confirm

Dialogue Arena parses every speaker turn and shows you a preview. Speaker names from the transcript are matched to Speaker A and Speaker B in your session.

4
Import all statements

Click Import All and every parsed statement is added to your transcript, ready for scoring, annotation, and analysis — in seconds.

Smart Speaker Matching

Names are matched automatically

When you set Speaker A and Speaker B names in your session, Dialogue Arena matches them against the speaker names in your transcript. If the session names appear anywhere in the transcript speaker labels, they are mapped correctly. For unrecognised names, the first unique speaker becomes Speaker A and the second becomes Speaker B — giving you a clean, labelled import every time.
